The Bradley Report and the Criminal Justice Workforce.
Sainsbury Centre for Mental Health, 2010
This paper examines what justice workers need to help them to help to implement the 82 recommendations of Lord Bradley's review of how the justice system supports people with mental health problems or learning disabilities.
It proposed a tiered framework approach, in which all criminal justice workers would get basic training in mental health and learning disability awareness. But extra training would be given to more specialist staff who provide ongoing support to people with mental health problems and learning disabilities.
