Service users take centre stage at Scottish Care Awards

Two residents from a home that supports adults with learning disabilities and complex needs took to the stage at the Scottish Care Awards to present an award for healthy living last month. The duo from Trinity House in Lockerbie, Annette and Nigel, proudly presented the ‘Nutrition and Eating Well’ award alongside singer Michelle McManus at the glitzy event at Glasgow’s Hilton Hotel. The awards recognise excellence and commitment in the care sector throughout Scotland and Annette and Nigel took part as representatives of care provider Danshell.
