Priory acquires specialist care provider

The Priory Group has acquired specialist learning disability care provider High Quality Lifestyles (HQL).

HQL provides specialist services to individuals with learning disabilities and/or autistic spectrum conditions, who sometimes present with behaviours that challenge. It operates 7 sites in the Dover and Ramsgate areas as well as domiciliary and outreach services.

Sarah Hughes, managing director of care services provider Craegmoor, which is part of the Priory Group, said: “We are delighted that High Quality Lifestyles will become part of the Priory Group of Companies, complementing and further expanding our Craegmoor services.

“This acquisition is part of the long-term strategy of strengthening and growing our business. Combining our portfolios will ensure that we can support more people and enable our stakeholders to benefit from the value that a larger group will undoubtedly deliver.
