Non-verbal man with autism releases album

Kyle Coleman, who is mute and has autism, has recorded an album of his favourite songs in a pitch-perfect voice.

Coleman, from Gwithian, Cornwall, was diagnosed with autism when he was 3 and has only ever been able to say a few words. However, this has not stopped him being able to sing. His album, Kyle, Therefore I Am, is being supported by The National Autistic Society (NAS) and will be released to coincide with World Autism Awareness Day on April 2.

The album features 9 cover songs by artists including, Robbie Williams, Cat Stevens and Razorlight. Plus a song that was written especially for him by the NAS’ South West regional officer, Lucy Skye. Kyle, Therefore I Am, will be available on Amazon and iTunes from April 2 and any money raised will go to NAS and other charities. The CD can also be bought directly from www.kylecoleman.co.uk
