Mr Peabody and ShermanAnimated children’s films Mr Peabody and Sherman, The Lego Movie and Moshi Monsters: The Movie will be March’s Autism Friendly Films, service provider Dimensions has announced.

Cineworld cinemas will show The Lego Movie on Sunday, March 2 at 11am. The following Sunday ODEON will also show the film at 11.30am.

Also on February 9, Showcase will show Mr Peabody and Sherman at 10am.

Finally, Vue will show Moshi Monsters: The Movie on Sunday, March 30, again starting at 10am.

The Lego Movie sees Emmet, an ordinary Lego mini-figure, get mistakenly identified as the most ‘extraordinary person’ and the key to saving the Lego universe. So Emmet and his friends go on an epic journey to stop the evil tyrant, Lord Business, from gluing the world together. Several star actors provide voices including Will Ferrell, Morgan Freeman and Liam Neeson.

In Mr Peabody and Sherman, genius dog Mr Peabody uses his most ingenious invention, the WABAC machine, to travel through time with his adopted boy Sherman to experience world-changing events first-hand and meet some of the greatest characters of all time. But when Sherman breaks the rules of time travel, he and Mr Peabody find themselves in a race to repair history and save the future.

Meanwhile, in Moshi Monsters: The Movie, which is based on the hugely successful online children’s game, the monsters are involved in an action-packed, song-filled race to stop evil Dr Strangeglove and his sidekick Fishlips from pulverising the Great Moshling Egg
