Support provider Lifeways Group has acquired Care UK’s Learning Disability Division, which supports about 1,000 individuals in supported living, residential care and day services.
All existing management and support staff teams will remain in place after the acquisition so service users and commissioners should not see any change in services. Contracts will remain with the current providers and Chris Hindle, managing director of the Learning Disability Division, and his team will continue to develop and grow the business with the support of the Lifeways.

Care UK is refocusing its portfolio of health and social care services as part of a strategic programme to focus on developing its primary and secondary NHS health services provision and its residential care services.
