This paper is based on a workshop convened under the auspices of the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services’ Learning Disability Policy Network and the Care Provider Alliance. It was designed to focus on the barriers to more productive strategic commissioning relationships, how to overcome those barriers and who might take action to improve the situation.
