Specialist mental health and Asperger’s housing provider Supported Homes is now part of the Eden Futures group.
The deal came into effect from the start of November and sees more than 40 vulnerable people with a range of mental illnesses and/or Asperger’s syndrome at eight locations across northwest England, the West Midlands and Welsh borders integrated into the Eden Futures group.
Group CEO Andrew Lennox said: “Supported Homes has an outstanding reputation for the quality of care it provides, centred around the needs of each individual service user. We are delighted to welcome Supported Homes to our group and we look forward to working together to support the people in our care to live independent and fulfilling lives.”
The combined group has nearly 2,000 staff and now provides support and partnered housing solutions for more than 800 people with a range of disabilities across England. Richard Clarke, the former owner of Supported Homes, will join the Eden Futures executive team as head of operations – North West and Wales.
Eden Futures offers personalised independent living options across the whole care pathway for the mental health and learning disability sectors. Its services include supported living, residential homes, domiciliary care and specialist provision for service users with life changing and acquired brain injuries. The group also has an independent hospital for individuals requiring care under the Mental Health Act.
