A new exhibition, where the work on display has been produced by people with learning disabilities, opens this week.

As well as displaying some fine work by learning disabled artists, Uninterpreted, which has been put together by Shape Arts, provides no written interpretation of the works on display. Instead, Shape is inviting viewers to make their own decisions on the works of art and record their reactions on a comments wall within the exhibition or online. The exhibition is based in Shape's Deane House Studios in Camden, North London, and will be open, via appointment, until 31 March. All of the artists in the exhibition have been selected from Action SpaceArtist First and Project Artworks.

To celebrate the launch of event, Shape is running a number of public events this week:

Curator Talk Wednesday 16 February - 5:30-6:30pm Location: Shape Come and debate the curator's insight into what they think about the work, as well as more on why they have decided not to write down their interpretations.
