Scope's new mission
Scope has taken the decision to cease being a provider of social care. It is to focus its efforts on achieving truly levelling social change. All care services are being transferred to other trusted providers over the next few months. Chief Executive Mark Atkinson describes how the organisation will innovate to empower disabled people to reach "everyday equality" while influencing for discriminatory policies, attitudes and structures to be made a thing of the past.
