The line-up for December’s Autism Friendly Films has been announced, which includes Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2, Rise of the Guardians, Frozen and Free Birds.
The films will be shown at participating ODEON, Vue, Cineworld and Showcase cinemas across the country.
Cineworld cinemas will show Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 on Sunday, December 1 at 11am.
Meanwhile, Showcase cinemas will show Free Birds on Sunday, December 8 at 10am.
ODEON cinemas will show Frozen at 11.30am on Sunday, December 15 at 11.30am.

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 continues the story of inventor Flint Lockwood, who discovers that his invention from the first film, a machine that can turn water into food, is still working but now creates mutant food beasts. Now, he and his friends must save the world from them.
In animated comedy Free Birds, two turkeys travel back in time to try and stop turkey from being on the first Thanksgiving menu. But what they see and who they meet changes their preconceptions of the world and themselves forever.
Disney’s Frozen tells the story of Anna, who teams up with mountain man Kristoff and his loyal reindeer Sven, to find her sister Elsa, whose power to create ice and snow has trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter.
Finally, in Rise of the Guardians, an evil spirit called Pitch lays down the gauntlet to take over the world, meaning the immortal Guardians – including Jack Frost and the Easter Bunny – must join forces for the first time to protect the hopes, beliefs, and imaginations of children all over the world.
Sensory friendly environment
Autism Friendly Screenings are mainstream films shown in a sensory friendly environment. Lights are on low, sound is turned down, trailers are omitted and people can bring their own food, make noise and move around the cinema as they feel comfortable.
