Seb White, a 4-year-old boy with Down’s syndrome, is to model in Marks and Spencer’s in-store Christmas catalogue, after his mother contacted the retailer personally.
Caroline White posted on M and S’ Facebook site asking for modelling work for Seb after becoming frustrated at the lack of diversity in children’s modelling campaigns, and felt that children with Down’s syndrome were not being represented.
Her Facebook post received a huge response and soon after M and S contacted her and within a week, Seb had been invited by the retailer to a photo-shoot at a studio.
Seb already has some modelling experience, having taken part in campaigns for children’s clothing retailer JoJo Maman Bebe.
